What to do BEFORE your appointment
Stop using retinol or any active products for at least 48 hours, if you’re using a strong active product, please text us to double check waxing will be best suited. We may only be able to tweeze on the day.
Try your best NOT to wear oily serums/makeup/sunscreen as this can be a barrier to both wax and tint/dye.
A couple of days before your appointment you can gently exfoliate your brows, however not on the day as this may irritate them
How long does a normal brow tint last?
Brow tint can last 10-14 days on the hair and only a couple of days on the skin on average. An oilier skin type may find that the tint lasts for less time than those with dryer skin and the amount of high intensity training or swimming can affect the longevity of your results.
*If you’re looking for a skin stain with a more defined look, tint is not usually recommended. We would recommend a dye.
How long does Brow Dye last for?
Brow dye can last for up to 1 week on the skin and 4 weeks on the hair. Brow dye is a favourite and can be applied to give either a natural look or to give a full stain and very defined result.
How can I make my brow tint/dye last longer?
To make your tint/dye last longer, don’t wet your brows for the first 24 hours after your tint/dye.
Avoid using active skincare or oils around the brow area and avoid excessive cleansing.
Swimming can also reduce the longevity of the tint/dye.
Can I wax if I'm on Roaccutane?
No, you cannot wax if you are on Roaccutane. However, we can tweeze to get a great result for you instead.
You need to wait a minimum of 6 months before having any waxing treatments.
Please remember to tell your technician if you are on Roaccutane or have been in the last 12 months.
How often should I get my brows done?
We usually recommend it every 4-6 weeks. However, this is totally dependent on your hair growth cycle and personal preference. Sometimes it may be longer.

What is brow lamination?
A brow lamination is a semi permanent cosmetic treatment using chemical solutions to help realign brow hairs into a desired shape. The treatment and technique we use helps straighten and shape your brows creating a full and fluffy looking brow.
How does brow lamination work?
The brow lamination treatment is broken down into three parts, first we break down the bonds in the hair, softening them so they can be manipulated and then use a second solution that places the bonds of the hair into the desired shape. We always use a hydrating and nourishing treatment during your appointment and finish with a hydrating solution that will remain on the brows for the first 24 hours.
How long does brow lamination last?
Brow lamination lasts anywhere from around 6-8 weeks. This timeframe varies for each client depending on brow client hair thickness, aftercare and lifestyle.
Is brow lamination painful?
No, this process is pain free. Clients may expect slight tingling on the skin when a solution has been applied if they are extremely sensitive or have any contra-indications. However this would be discussed prior to the treatment commencing.
How long do I have to avoid my newly laminated brows getting wet?
Keep your newly laminated brows dry for 24 hours.
Do they look wet straight after?
Yes, they will have a slight wet look to them. This is due to the nourishing solution that is applied in the last step which adds hydration back into the brows. Once you wet your brows this goes away.
Will I need to fill in my brows after having them laminated?
This depends how much hair you have. If you have sparse spots then yes, there is a chance you will still need to fill them in. Brow lamination helps to change directions of hairs which in some cases may not cover sparse spots. However, adding a tint or hybrid dye will help with this.
Who is lamination suitable for?
If you have hairs that grow in undesirable directions.
Thin brows that lay flat - by brushing them up brows can look much fuller and wider.
If you love a full and brushed up brow.
If you already have cosmetic tattooing - by resetting hairs over tattooing it makes them look more textured and uniform.
Who is lamination NOT suitable for?
People who have little to no hair.
If you prefer a more perfectly groomed brow.
If your brows grow quickly and you like a lot of trimming, you may find they begin to look untidy quicker with this treatment. We can still do it however you may need to get your brows tidied up more regularly than usual.
If you are on Roaccutane.
It is usually recommended to avoid it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
My brow hairs have gone a little dry after my lamination, is this normal?
With any treatment that changes the anatomy of your hair can have an impact on your hair, and also your lifestyle and aftercare will effect it. It’s so important to follow the aftercare advice, this is why we provide brow oil to take home. It’s normal for your brows to get a little dry, always chat to your therapist for options and ways to minimize this and ensure you are waiting the recommended amount of time between appointments.

What is a Lash Lift?
A lash lift is a semi permanent cosmetic service that ultimately curls your natural lashes creating a brighter, fuller, wide-eyed look. This combined with a tint will elevate the look of your natural lash and minimise your need to grab the lash curler or mascara!
How long does a Lash Lift take?
Approximately 45 minutes.
How long does a Lash Lift last?
A Lash Lift can last 8-10 weeks but can vary from person to person. Swimming, the use of harsh products or heat may cause the lift to weaken or drop.
How often can I have them lifted?
You must wait at least eight weeks minimum between lash lift appointments. You will be refused service if it is under this timeframe as this can do damage to your lashes and will produce a poor result.
I have contact lenses, can I get this service?
Yes. However, you will need to take them out before we start the treatment.
Is a Lash Lift damaging to your natural lashes?
Not ‘damaging’, however just as brow lamination can dry out your lash, this can happen with a lash lift and may be caused by lifestyle and not following aftercare advice. However, you’re in safe hands with us who are well trained and we ensure all steps are followed correctly to ensure the health of your lashes. We always include hydrating treatment in the service and there are home products to purchase as well as optional lash maintenance (Botox) treatments to have in between your appointments to upkeep the health of your lashes.
How long can I not get my lashes wet for?
It is important not to wet your lashes for 24 hours.
Can I wear makeup after my lash lift?
Do not wear any makeup on your lashes for at least 24 hours after your appointment. Long term a recommended tip is to use a non-waterproof mascara as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift.
Will I have a reaction to any of the Lash Lift solutions?
Very few people have a reaction to the lotion but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen. If you are someone who typically has sensitive skin, we would recommend coming in 24 hours before hand for a test patch. A patch test is quick and simple and consists of us placing small amount of the solutions behind the ear. Wiping it off after 20 minutes and wait to see if any subsequent irritation occurs over the next 24 hours such as redness, itching or inflammation for example. Ensure you come in for a test patch within opening hours, no appointment is required.

How long does my hair need to be for waxing?
For best results, hair should be at least 5mm long — about the size of a grain of rice — so the wax can grip properly.
How long will the results last?
Most people stay smooth for 3–5 weeks, depending on hair growth cycles. With regular waxing, hair may grow back finer and slower.
Does waxing hurt?
There’s some discomfort, but most find it quick and manageable. The first wax can feel more sensitive; regular waxing usually gets easier over time.
Can I wax if I’m pregnant?
Yes, body waxing is safe during pregnancy, though skin can be more sensitive. Let your therapist know you’re expecting and we can adjust our beds for your comfort.
What should I do before my appointment?
Exfoliate gently 24 hours beforehand, avoid moisturising on the day, and wear comfortable clothing.
What should I avoid after waxing?
For 24–48 hours, avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming, tanning, tight clothing, and intense exercise to help prevent irritation.
Can I wax if I have sensitive skin?
Generally yes, but please let us know so we can use the most suitable products and take extra care.
Will waxing cause ingrown hairs?
It can, but regular gentle exfoliation and moisturising helps minimise them.
How often should I book waxing appointments?
Every 4–6 weeks is typical for most areas, but this can vary based on your hair growth and preference.
Is there anything that would prevent me from getting waxed?
We won’t wax over sunburn, broken skin, or active rashes. Certain medications (like Roaccutane) also mean waxing isn’t recommended, please check with us first.
